4th of July themed taco dip recipe.

Today I’m sharing my favorite taco dip, but with a 4th of July twist! I love making this EASY dish for any get together, but especially the holiday!

This dip is served cold, so no need to use a crock pot or oven.

Recipe for the taco dip:

  • Sour Cream. 16oz tub
  • Fiesta Ranch Seasoning. 1 pack.
    • This seasoning is difficult to find! If I can’t find it I use 1 taco seasoning packet and 1 ranch seasoning packet as pictured.
  • Rotel Tomatoes. 1 can. I use Mild.
  • Shredded taco cheese. 1 bag.

To add the patriotic look you will also need

  • 9x 13 in. baking pan
  • Olives. I use a 2.25 oz can of sliced black olives.
  • Cherry Tomatoes sliced in half. You will use less than one box.

I start by mixing the sour cream with seasoning packet(s). You can mix this in the same dish you plan on serving it in. I then mix in the Rotel tomatoes (drained) so the dip is more thick and not watery. After the can of Rotel is mixed, I throw in a handful of shredded cheese to mix. Once everything is mixed together I spread it out on the baking dish and top it with the rest of the shredded cheese.

Next, slice your cherry tomatoes in half (long ways), and open your can of olives (drained). You can then start creating your American Flag! I always start with the olives as the stars, then create 3 rows with the tomatoes for the stripes.

Simple as that! This recipe is always a hit and so easy to make, plus there is no clean up until the dish is empty!

As always, you can mix all the ingredients in a bowl, top it with shredded cheese and serve for any occasion!

If you tried this recipe, let me know what you thought of it! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

Stay Fearless,
