What to register for your wedding, when it feels like you have everything already.
There are so many options when it comes to a wedding registry. Along with our honeyfund, we chose to register at Crate & Barrel and Target. I chose Crate & Barrel because I love the quality and variety of products. Target was included because it was easy for everyone to access, and affordable! Both stores offer an app you can download to your phone. On the app you can scan the barcode item and it will automatically add the item to your registry. You can also manually add items to your registry if you will not be in the store. If your local C&B offers a registering event, sign up! The store is not open to the public during the event. They provide small bites and drinks while couples register and the staff is available to answer any questions! During the even we were able to test out some of the products, like a knife set for example!
Here is a list of our must haves:
- Pots & pans set. We use these almost daily, splurge on a nice set!
- Dining Set. We upgraded every type of plate and bowl to have everything match. Safe to say if we ever wanted floating shelves, it would look so clean and organized.
- Glassware. We registered for tall glasses, short glasses, wine glasses, champaign glasses, and margartia glasses. (because taco nights wouldn’t have been complete without them). For each dish and glass we registered for 8 pieces each (aside from the fancy cocktail glasses, we did 2-6). Some people will suggest 10 pieces, and to store 2 as back up for when one item breaks, but we do not have extra storage in our home.
- Cooking Utensils. One bamboo set and one metal copper set. While we are on the subject of utensils, go ahead and add some shiny new silverware to your list!
- Baking supplies. Copper measuring cups and white mixing bowls/bakeware to keep the theme of white and copper! Once you have a color scheme stick to it.
- KITCHENAID MIXER. We already had one prior to getting married, but I would recommend anyone to register for a mixer. It can be used for SO much more than just baking!
- Towels. bath, hand, dish. you name it!
- Bedding. New comforter or quilt, sheets, matching shams, euros, throw pillows, etc. who knew bedding had so many pieces?!
- Instant Pot or Airfryer, why not experience with new tools to help cut your cooking time in half.
- Cleaning products. Roomba, we have had the same one for 3 years, but be sure to continiuosly clean it out after each use. We registered for the Shark Steam Mop Professional. It’s safe for both laminate, hardwood, and tile. Be sure to use distilled water not tap water when using to increase the life of the product.
- Home Decor. We registered for all decor at Target. Photo frames, wreaths, baskets, laundry hamper, etc, target had it all!
Registering can be overwhelming, but always remember you can edit your registry at any time on the app and return items for store credit if something isn’t how you envisioned it!
Did you forget to add something? Don’t sweat it, girl. For the next 6 months after your wedding date, you get 10% off all items in your registry at both stores. You can still add and remove items after your wedding too! Happy Registering.
Stay Fearless,
