South Beach, Miami Bachelorette Party Guide

Welcome to Miami. Bienvenidos a Miami! I went to Miami, Florida in May for a Bachelorette party! We stayed 3 nights which barley scraped the surface of this massive city! This travel guide isn’t only for a Bachelorette party! I hope it provides you with ideas on where to stay, eat, drink, and play for any occasion on South Beach!

Where to Stay:

South Beach! We rented an air bnb on Ocean Drive. The location was perfect because we could walk to restaurants, bars, drug stores, and most importantly THE BEACH! We did not rent a car, but we honestly spend the most money on Ubers because we wanted to explore everything Miami had to offer. The destinations were no more than 20 minutes away from where we stayed, which included the airport .

What to do:

  • Visit the beach (obviously!) There was so much seaweed on the sand, but the water felt amazing!
  • Explore Wynwood Walls (it is free and perfect for photographs!)
  • Visit Little Havana for that Cuban taste.
  • Explore Ocean Drive, the art deco district. (This is where we stayed!)
  • Go on a catamaran boat tour. This was my favorite part about the trip! It was a private half day catamaran tour with the sweetest captains! Mike and Sandy were amazing host! You are allowed to bring your own adult beverages and food. We went swimming at the sand bar, but also toured gorgeous homes along the water near Key Biscayne. There isn’t a set structure to the tour. They are flexible and design the tour to your interest. They provided noodles for swimming, bottled water, and soda. Definitely check them out if you’re in Miami!
  • Check out the night life. If you’re looking for a nightclub like they have in Vegas, check out LIV or Story. Ladies, find yourself a promotor to avoid cover. Warning: Waters cost $10 at these clubs (I wish I was joking). Where an alcoholic beverage cost $16. For a more relaxed bar, visit Senior Frogs. Mango’s was a salsa/latin bar with live performances. Later in the evening, it turns into a club scene and cover prices increase from $10 to $20. Mango’s is very touristy, but I had so much fun here! Check out Bodega for a speak easy feel. You can eat tacos here, then walk through a porta potty door that will you take you to a bar!

Where to Eat:

  • Bodega is super affordable with $3 tacos, and the most expensive drink in the speak easy was under $15.
  • Morgan’s for Brunch. I had the chicken and waffles. Delicious!
  • If you can’t get into Morgan’s, head over to Beaker and Gray for Brunch.
  • Naked Taco. The music was loud, and the tacos were yummy which made it the perfect dinner before a night out!
  • Tony’s Sushi or Baoli. Sushi by the water is always a good idea. Tony’s is cheap, yummy sushi, or if you’re wanting something more upscale check out Baoli.
  • The Forge. If you’re wanting a super upscale Steakhouse.
  • Astra. A perfect spot in Wynwood for roof top drinks.
  • Dior pop up cafe. This place screams girls trip. They serve the essentials: coffee, champaign, and small plates.
  • Blocks Pizza Deli. They deliver and you can personalize your pizza with it’s shape or writing with pepperoni’s. It also taste amazing and they were so sweet by adding personalized touches.
  • Bakan. Mexican food in Wynwood with such a fun atmosphere.

I hope you enjoy Miami as much as I did!

Stay Fearless,

Michelle Foster
