What to buy for the Traveler. Holiday Gift Guide Under $50.
This guide is designed for the jet setter in your life! These gifts are for the avid traveler, the one taking their first flight, and everything in between! Each gift is under $50 and many of them come from Amazon!
Adapter with USB ports
This adapter is perfect for any place you travel to. It has exchangeable ports for each country and you can even use it at home, not just while traveling. Other adapters will just sit in your closet, but since this one comes with one for every country you can use it all the time! I own this adapter and it’s honestly the only one we travel with because it has so many outlets.
Push Pin Map and Cork Globe
You can personalize this map with a saying, or a way to identify what different color pins mean. It’s a fun way to keep track of where you’ve been and where you are heading! Keeping that wanderlust alive. This is great decor for an office space or bedroom.
Packing Cubes
Chase and I both use these packing cubes when we travel. I use two of the large sized items, and two small sized cubes when traveling to Europe. This allows me to only pack one carry on, and gives me a space to separate dirty items from clean ones as the trip goes on. It blows my mind how much I fit into one of these cubes!
Microfiber Towel
I have the purple towel, and Chase owns the blue one! These are great for the beach, or if your place of stay does not provide towels. They dry quickly and are super thin and easy to pack! They can also be used for a picnic or a yoga mat!
Dual Voltage Curling Iron and Blow Dryer
Make sure your curling iron/straightener/blow dry is DUAL VOLTAGE! It will normally say on the box if it is or isn’t. I have an older Chi iron (that worked in certain parts of Europe) and a Dry Bar Wand that is not dual voltage so I was not going to risk ruining my high quality tools. Instead, I opted for an affordable, travel iron, and blow dryer. The curling iron worked very well and my curls held all day!
Passport Holder and Luggage Tag
A waterproof passport holder is key! This white marble one is so pretty and I love that it has pockets on the side. These luggage tags make for great gifts, especially newly weds! We have gray ones that say FOSTER on them. It is so easy to spot our luggage.
LuluLemon Vinyasa Scarf
This scarf is multi functional! I have a neutral color and wear it even when I’m not traveling. For traveling purposes I’ll use it as a pillow or blanket on the flight. You can style it 14 different ways!
Travel Mirror
The perfect travel mirror with LED lights you can turn on or off. This is great because you will always have perfect lightening for applying make up. It is great for those girls trips where there just aren’t enough mirrors or space to get ready!
Portable Phone Charger
Portable phone chargers are crucial for traveling. This way you can use your phone for maps and photos without worrying about your battery draining. You can stay out and explore all day and night stress free.
Portable Water Bottle
I love traveling with my own water bottle, but sometimes it can take up too much space. I love that this can fold up when not in use.
Carry on Cocktail Kit
This is a fun stocking stuffer or for a white elephant gift. All the ingredients to great a cocktail (minus the liquor). They have gin and tonic, champaign cocktails, Moscow mules, bloody Mary’s and more!
